This page covers the Charlotte Silver classic bedroom and how to build a silver scheme today. Charlotte Silver set a carved solid wood bed with three-drawer nightstands, a four-drawer chest, lamps and a silver-finish mirror. The current pieces here keep silver as the common thread.
Using silver as the common thread
Silver works when it repeats on at least three pieces, so the eye reads it as a scheme. Put it on the bed, the wardrobe and the mirror. The Opera Bed 3071 by Francesco Pasi has gold leaf or silver leaf options and an upholstered headboard on 80 mm solid wood. A silver-finish mirror like the one in the old Charlotte Silver set completes the trio.
A wardrobe with veneered panels
Veneered panels give a large wardrobe grain and pattern without carving. The New Deco Wardrobe with Natural Panels by Francesco Pasi has two hinged doors with veneered panels, so leave a walkway in front of it. Its facade can be natural bicolor, dark natural cherry, or natural with gold or silver leaf, the last tying it to the bed. See luxury bedroom furniture sets for full rooms.
A leather bench at the foot of the bed
A bench gives the bed a finished end and a place to lay out clothes. The New Deco Bench in Leather by Francesco Pasi is upholstered in leather on a solid cherry frame, and the frame can be finished in cherry, lacquer or Luxury. Keep the bench a little narrower than the bed so the bed frame shows at each side. More exclusive home furniture continues the scheme in other rooms.
