Sunrise, a modern bedroom in champagne bird's eye maple with printed iguana leather and chrome, is the subject of this page, along with current pieces that keep its light character. The photographs below show the Sunrise bed, bench, chest, dresser, night table, ottoman and vanity desk.
Champagne maple with printed leather
Sunrise is a pale, reflective bedroom. Its champagne bird's eye maple veneer has a high-gloss polyester finish, the lower parts are in printed iguana leather, and the feet are chrome stainless steel. The light veneer suits rooms that get morning sun.
A bed with steel sides on the headboard
The Krypton Bed by Epoque, from the Exence line, has an upholstered headboard 19 cm deep with steel sides and inserts, and a base covered in steel. That steel picks up the chrome feet of Sunrise. It comes with a fixed base or with a lift-up storage base. Set it among other luxury bedroom furniture in pale tones.
Mirror-clad chest and metal-based nightstand
The Adone Chest of Drawers by Cantori is covered entirely in bevelled mirror, plain or smoky, and measures H 81 x W 115 x D 47 cm. Its three drawers extend fully and close softly. The Supernova Nightstand by Dall'Agnese, designed by Signorotto+Partners, stands on an epoxy powder-coated metal base, 150 mm high. Natural oak or a pale lacquer keeps it in line with the champagne maple. If the scheme continues into the dining room, consider italian designer dining chairs in the same light tones.
