This page covers a traditional Italian living room made by craftsmen who pass their skills to the next generation. The photographs below show sofas, armchairs, display cabinets, a bookcase, a chest, a TV unit and a table with chairs; three current pieces follow.
Craft handed down
The furniture in the photographs comes from a workshop tradition passed on from one generation to the next. Its range covers a full room: fixed sofas, armchairs, glass-door display cabinets, a bookcase, a chest and a TV unit.
The same handwork continues in the current pieces below, where carving and leaf are still applied by hand.
A long carved sofa
Francesco Pasi offers the Gran Guardia Sofa with 6 Cushions in Luxury Retro Cherry and Luxury Retro Walnut, alongside lighter Cream, Hazelnut, White and Coffee. At 240 cm wide, it can face two armchairs across a coffee table.
Cream or White suits pale walls; the Retro tones suit panelled or darker rooms. For a shorter wall, choose a smaller italian couch.
Wall composition and coffee table
The New Deco Wall Composition 1 by Francesco Pasi uses cherry blockboard 25 mm, seven layers of cherry, for sides, bottom and frame. Its doors and drawers are solid cherry, 34 mm.
In front of the sofa, the New Deco Square Coffee Table by the same maker has a frame in solid cherry and comes in cherry, lacquer or Luxury. A square top suits seating arranged on three sides. With the sofa, both make one set of luxury living room furniture.
