The Sunrise modern living room is covered here, a collection that combined bird's-eye maple veneer, printed iguana leather and stainless steel handles. Three current pieces suit the same optimistic mood: the Shanghai Angular Sofa by Cantori, the Nife Armchair by Epoque and an Icon table by Francesco Pasi.
Planning around a corner sofa
A corner sofa sets the plan for the whole Sunrise-style room. The Shanghai Angular Sofa by Cantori measures H 80 x W 320 x D 167 cm, so it needs two clear walls or a free-standing position. Maurizio Manzoni gave it a vertical iron element with hand-hammered facets. The feet combine 25 mm iron tubing with solid round bars, under a double perimeter frame of solid fir and poplar plywood.
A piped armchair on an upholstered base
The Nife Armchair by Epoque, from the Exence collection, is upholstered right down to its base. Piping is standard and the padding is foam. Set two opposite the corner sofa to close the seating group. Other layouts appear with the luxury living room furniture.
Walnut or marble for the square table
The Icon Square Coffee Table with Drawer by Francesco Pasi measures H 40 x W 120 x D 120 cm and takes a Canaletto walnut or a marble top. Marble options are Botticino, Emperador, Nero Marquina/Grey Stone and Bianco Carrara. Finishes include Sahara, Terra, Testa di Moro and Fumo di Londra. The gallery below shows the Sunrise sofas, buttoned armchairs, buffets and consoles. Planning the bedroom too? Start with the modern designer beds.
